Perform application development, design, coding, testing and implementation of complex software applications working utilizing Hadoop, JDBC, Spark and SQL. Working with UNIX shell scripting, batch scheduling and version control tools. Gather business requirements, conduct data analysis and develop application functional and technical design specifications to the implementation stage. Manage data extraction jobs and build new data pipelines from various structured and unstructured sources into Hadoop. Recognize data patterns and troubleshoot the data. Build scalable integration framework for ingress and egress data from Hadoop. Build, Execute or support test certification scripts, analyze and validate results against established success criteria. Conduct extraction of data from Hadoop and load tables and Teradata for reporting. Participate in all phases of software development life cycle. Analyze technical requirements and perform system validation. Conduct analysis of client operations, including coding, limitations and solutions, application development, quality testing and implementation. Create test environment and test performance of software modules performance tuning and design and delivery of custom-enabled application solutions. Conduct performance tuning of existing graphs and applications. Analyze and fix the data processing issues and troubleshoot the production issues. Enable environment sustainability through technology training and development of user guides and knowledge artifacts. May travel and relocate to various unanticipated sites throughout the US.
